Isolation Transformer
The isolation transformer is specially designed for medical locations where there is a galvanic separation between the primary and secondary windings. The primary side is connected to the TN system and the secondary is converted to an IT system. An electrostatic screen or shield is installed between the windings to reduce electrical interference, and has an insulated connector for connection to the equipotential bonding.
